I have over 25 years of experience covering a wide range of roles in teaching, with both adults and children. These include: teaching individual children for a local Brass Band, as well as teaching piano to groups at a local music school. I also enter students for exams with either ABRSM or Trinity, as well as: teaching people returning to music, helping them improve or try out a new instrument.

As a trombonist, I took my Grade 8 with the Trinity exam board achieving a distinction, following on from this I studied performance at the University of Nottingham. During my studies, I played five solo recitals covering various styles and techniques. I have also played with big bands, brass bands, and orchestras. Whilst at the University of Nottingham, I played for the Philharmonia Orchestra Conducted by Jonathan Tilbrook, head of orchestral studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
